About Rod:

Rod grew up in Sandy, UT and was the oldest of six children. He attended the University of Utah on scholarship before serving an LDS mission to Spain. After returning home he married his beautiful wife Sheri, and they raised 5 children together. Rod received his Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Montana. He has been working as a Board-Certified Pediatric Physician Assistant for sixteen years.

Rod is fluent in Spanish and loves working in pediatrics and helping parents navigate the joys and challenges of raising children. Rod currently has six grandchildren, hopefully with more on the way. He loves spending time with his family outdoors; camping, hunting, fishing, skiing, and boating.

I have been taking my son to see Dr. Hoki since he was about 6 months old and we absolutely LOVE him!! He is an amazing doctor, and a very caring man. He cares about the kids he takes care of and i wouldn’t take my son to anyone else. He has guided us through some pretty tough times as my son has grown up and i can confidently say he truly cares about what he does and it’s not just a “job” for him. And WeeCare Pediatrics is just as amazing. We love all their doctors!! Their facility is clean, well ran, and their time management is great. And the women that work the front desk are so sweet and helpful. I would definitely recommend taking your babies here!!
